The Newport News Police Department is hosting a neighborhood meeting for the Southeast Community on Monday, Aug. 20, from 5-7 p.m. in the Piggly Wiggly Community Room, 3101 Jefferson Ave.

Please join Newport News Chief of Police Steve Drew and take the opportunity to share your concerns, make suggestions, and ask questions regarding community safety and neighborhood policing in the Southeast Community of Newport News.

The Police Department is asking for input on how to better serve the community. They are asking for help from community members to help establish a partnership that fosters safety and security where you live and play.
