The Reverend Dr. Oretha P. Cross, Pastor of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church of Newport News is ecstatic to announce their Annual Youth Summer Enrichment and Lunch Feeding Program. The program is scheduled to run at St. Paul AME Church (2500 Chestnut Ave.) from Tuesday, June 19 through Aug. 24 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Enrichment Activities will include arts and crafts, puppet shows, reading program, writing classes, games, junior etiquette classes, theater, guitar lessons and dance, and discovering the wonderful world of science.
St. Paul AME is excited to offer this program and look forward to serving the surrounding communities. Applications are now available in the church’s office for parents/guardians to sign up their youth and teens (age 4 – 18 years). The feeding program is open to all youth regardless if they are participating in the Enrichment activities. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday).
