Thomas Nelson Community College invites Heritage High School students, parents, faculty and staff  to our Black History Month event, Black Men Collegiate Conversation.  Facilitated by Thomas Nelson Provost Gregory McLeod, Ph.D., the free event takes place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Hampton campus, 99 Thomas Nelson Dr.

Statistics indicate that 25 out of 100 African-American students will attend college. Of that figure, only one male will graduate. Aimed at turning the tide, this event will provide valuable insight about the college experience through panelists who will offer advice and share personal stories about their higher education journeys.
